A Philosophical Thought
Yes, I know I haven't blogged in ages.....and this is unlikely to satisfy the craving masses. But, briefly, a thought I had that someone else with more time than I (including, possibly, future versions of me) might latch onto.
It would be a really fun project to analyze a philosophical tradition like Harold Bloom analyzed poetry, seeing where philosophers have productively misread and reinterpreted certain prior concepts. I'm thinking particularly of continental philosophy, and particularly of Kant.
If anyone out there decides to write a dissertation (or a paper, whatever) on this, please send me a copy. Thanks.
